Our Ministries

At Tabernacle, our mission is to know Christ, grow in His Word, and show His love to those around us. Whether you’re married, single, single-again, a parent, or a young adult – no matter where you’ve been or what life’s dealt you – you’re invited to experience Jesus-centered community, find spiritual support, receive prayer, and make friends as you discover the life God has for you. Our prayer is that the ministries of Tabernacle would be a help to your spiritual walk.

We are constantly looking to grow in our areas of service and ministry, so if there’s an area you’re passionate about and would like to help in, please let us know!

Now there are different gifts, but the same Spirit.
There are different ministries, but the same Lord.
And there are different activities, but the same God works all of them in each person.

1 Corinthians 12:4-6 (CSB)

Next gen Ministries

Tabernacle has nursery care for ages 0-4 during our Sunday worship service, a Kids’ Small Group on Sundays at 9:45 AM, Kids’ Church after the singing portion of the Sunday worship service, and a Wednesday night program at 6:00 PM.

We have opportunities for teens to learn about what it means to become and be a Christian, as well as events in our local area and in our state where they can connect with other believers their age, hear amazing preaching, and have a ton of fun.

In Mark 10:14-15, Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me. Don’t stop them, because the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

While, in many cases, children and teens haven’t yet made the personal decision to join with Jesus and His church, we want to be faithful to accurately tell and show them who He is, so when they do have to make that all-important decision, they do so from a place of understanding, not hurt and confusion.

Men’s & Women’s Ministries

Tabernacle’s mission is to know Christ, grow in His Word, and show His love, and our Men’s and Women’s ministries are built to fulfill that purpose. Through monthly Bible studies, activities, local conferences, and fun outings together, we seek, not only to have good times, but times where you can be genuinely known and loved, and where you can know and love others!

Our Men’s Proverbs Study is every 2nd & 4th Thursday at the church at 6:30 PM, and our Women’s Bible Study is every 1st and 3rd Thursday at the church at 6:30 PM.

Small Groups

The Sunday morning worship service is invaluable in the life of a believer, but the Bible communicates to us that there’s more to the Christian life than just singing together and hearing preaching from God’s Word.

1 Corinthians 12 says, “God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the less honorable, so that there would be no division in the body, but that the members would have the same concern for each other. So if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.”

We are called to know and love and encourage and challenge one another as we follow the Lord together as a church. Our small groups are one way we accomplish that goal at Tabernacle. These groups meet weekly to study various aspects of the Bible & Christian living, and we believe the discussions, times of prayer, and encouragement you receive from this time with others is priceless to your spiritual life!
