What to expect

  • Parking

Many attenders choose to park in our parking lot, which is accessed most easily from Bennett Road. Some people also choose to park on Bennett Road itself, whether on the side closest to the church, or on the side closest to Middlesex Elementary.

  • The Buildings

The building closest to our parking lot is the Education Building, where our nurseries are located, as well as several of our small groups. You can drop off your nursery-age kids (0-4 years old) in the Education Building between 10:50-11:00 AM.

Our church building houses our auditorium, offices, and our downstairs multipurpose hall. It is also wheelchair accessible. Use the sidewalk between the two buildings to easily get to the stairs or ramp that will take you up to the front door of the church

  • Where To Go

If you’re dropping your nursery-age kids off in the Education building, the easiest access is from the door directly across the sidewalk from the front door of the church building. The nursery is directly on your left as you enter. This building is also where kids ages 5-12 can go to Kids’ Church with their teachers & helpers after the music portion of the worship service is done.

If you’re entering the church building, the auditorium is on your immediate left, and the multipurpose (“fellowship”) hall is down the stairs on your left.

There are no assigned seats in the auditorium, so sit wherever you feel most comfortable! If you struggle with being able to read words from far away, we’d encourage you to sit in the front half of the auditorium as the words we sing and read together are so helpful for our lives!

  • The Music

At Tabernacle, you will find both classic hymns and some of the latest worship songs. We believe that God’s work in the past is worth remembering and retelling, but that He isn’t done working and stirring new songs of praise in the hearts (and instruments) of His people.

Our music is intentionally people-focused, so you won’t have to worry about having earplugs in or standing through three-minute guitar solos. We post our upcoming Sunday’s congregational songs each week on our YouTube channel, and we encourage our congregation to listen to the songs so they can be ready to sing together!

  • The Message

At Tabernacle, we believe that the Bible is essential and central to our gatherings. The sermons that are preached here are reflective of that belief, so every sermon you hear is drawn directly from a passage of scripture, with the goal of saying the same thing God said, in the way that He said it. We most often use “expository” sermons (which work verse by verse, chapter by chapter through one book of the Bible) in our preaching ministry.

The preaching of Tabernacle seeks to practically apply God’s wisdom to your everyday life. The Bible has the answers you’ve been looking for, and it’s essential for your journey through life.

  • Tabernacle & You

After you attend a service, what happens next? In the service, you’ll be invited to fill out the connection card you received from a greeter with any information you feel comfortable sharing. Our church uses this information to help inform us about how we can best serve you through our ministries. We promise, we won’t harass you or send daily emails or texts, we’ll simply send occasional notices about upcoming opportunities that could be helpful for you in your life stage! And, you can opt out easily at any time.

Then, we invite you to dive into a small group at Tabernacle, where you can get to know other people from our area who are trying to get to know Jesus, grow in His Word, and show His love to others, just like you!

We also have quarterly Starting Point meetings, where those new to Tabernacle or faith in Christ are encouraged to come and hear about the ways God has designed His church to work, and how we seek to accomplish that mission at Tabernacle!
