Our Purpose

Tabernacle Baptist Church is all about purpose. The Bible gives us a clear purpose to share the message of Jesus Christ within our church, our community, and our world. The purpose of Tabernacle Baptist Church is: “Worship God. Love Others. Reach the World.”

What We Believe

Tabernacle is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), and we are in agreement with The Baptist Faith and Message 2000, a statement of belief adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention. CLICK HERE to view the Baptist Faith and Message. Tabernacle is also affiliated with the Baptist Convention of Maryland Delaware (BCM/D) and the Baltimore Baptist Association (BBA). We believe in, and support, the Cooperative Program in our giving. In addition, we support annual Missions offerings to support missionaries on the Home and Foreign fields.
